Colón Fábrica, the magical tour of the great productions of the Teatro Colón, reopens its doors in the Arts District of the La Boca neighborhood

From January 7, the exhibition can be visited every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 12:00 to 18:00. The General Admission has a cost of $600.

 

The Colón Theater is one of the few factory theaters in the world. For this reason, starting on Friday, January 7, the Colón Factory will reopen its doors and every Friday, weekend and holiday, you can visit this fascinating journey through the sets made in the workshops of the scenographic area that allows you to discover the magnitude of the jobs that make excellence possible on stage.

 

The guided tours will be carried out in groups with a maximum of 34 visitors, with a duration of approximately 40 minutes. For the free tour modality, the time spent in the establishment is 1 hour.

 

Tickets can only be purchased with a credit or debit card by going to www.teatrocolon.org.ar or at the Colón Fábrica ticket office (Avenida Pedro de Mendoza 2163). They are personal and non-transferable and are valid only for the day and time for which they were purchased.

 

The doors of the Colón Fábrica will be open, as well as the possibility of taking the guided tour, every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 12:00 to 18:00 (prices in Argentine pesos):

An area of ​​7,500 m2, located in the south of the City, in the Arts District, on Avenida Pedro de Mendoza 2147 in the La Boca neighborhood, is the space that was conditioned to house and exhibit the scenery, props and costumes. used in the productions of the Teatro Colón.

 

The sets are productions carried out in recent years. Among them are the operas Turandot, La Bohème, A Streetcar Named Desire, The Tales of Hoffmann, Don Pascuale, Rigoletto and Aida as well as the ballet El Corsario.

 

Within the route there are recreation spaces for children and rest spaces for the whole family, where you can interact with part of the scenographic material and have a playful experience with them.

 

At each stop, in front of the scenery, there is a screen where you can access audiovisual information and details of the work by scanning a QR code. As a suggested place, there are “floor marks” from where the visitor can take the best photographs and accompany them with the #ColónFábrica.

 

Colón Fábrica seeks to transmit the creative, cultural and productive potential of the Colón Theater in the South Zone of the City, within the reach of residents so that they can tour, visit and enjoy it.
