A partnership to expand the circulation of Latin American operaa
The special edition is part of the collaborative partnership that OLA and Ópera Actual have maintained since 2023, aimed at strengthening the presence and circulation of Latin American opera activity in one of the leading Spanish-language media outlets specializing in opera.
As part of this collaboration, the bimonthly editions of Ópera Actual feature an opinion column by OLA’s executive director—currently led by Paulina Ricciardi—dedicated to addressing relevant issues and challenges for the opera and performing arts sector from a Latin American perspective.

Likewise, the Opera in the World section regularly features titles and productions from OLA member theaters, expanding the presence of Latin American programming within the magazine’s international coverage.
The special feature OLA’s 2026 Opera Season deepens this joint effort by bringing together, in a single publication, the programming of the network’s members and offering an overview of opera creation, production and circulation across the Ibero-American sphere.
Surpassing 100,000 views reinforces the reach of this collaboration and the interest in discovering a diverse, connected and constantly evolving opera scene on both sides of the Atlantic.
