We have gone from 100 annual functions in 2015 to more than 300 in 2019 and that we will increase in 2020. This means a great effort by your artistic bodies and the organization. ”

The invitation of the Chinese National Theater to make presentations of the Colón is a huge honor, which is a great display of casts, scenery and logistics. Task that we are doing with María Victoria and Enrique, to try to achieve this great milestone for Argentina and the City of Buenos Aires. ”

Then took the floor Enrique Avogadro: “Something that I emphasize is this vocation of permanently expanding the public, access to culture is the great challenge that Horacio asks us for the whole ministry: that more and more people are protagonists of culture in the Buenos aires city. Culture is much more than entertainment, it is a tool of personal development but above all collective. And it is therefore a central tool in creating new opportunities. The Colon with all the initiatives mentioned by María Victoria, with this permanent opening to new audiences, and not only in this wonderful venue but also going out, plays a central role. ”
