Under the dossier “Economía en la Ópera”, the Spanish magazine Scherzo dedicates an important chapter to the Latin American Opera Association and its 10 years of experience.

The contents dealt with since its creation in 2007, its founding members and new members, its Legal Constitution in March of this year; the value of networking, and the results of the last Annual Meeting of the association that was held in September of this year. In turn, the 5 main axes of action of OLA are developed: Associativity, Exchange, Training, Accessibility and Sustainability. The success of the co-productions between the member theaters of the Network, on the recent international alliances with OPERA America, Opera Europa and the Royal Opera House is discussed and the innovation programs being developed by the Royal Theater of Madrid as the creation are highlighted of the OLA Marketplace Scene.
