Sixth meeting of Ópera Latinamérica will be held in Santiago de Chile

As in previous versions, the Municipal Theater of Santiago (pictured), in the Chilean capital, will once again be the venue for a new meeting of Opera Latin America. The VI OLA Meeting will take place on Thursday, July 23 and Friday, July 24, and once again it will be the occasion for the representatives of the theaters and institutions that make up this group to discuss and debate around different realities and topics of interest to the lyrical news in our region, including: collection of public and private funds and new economic models; ways of transmission and use of new technologies; experiences and programs to attract and convene new audiences; Copyright; strategies to increase sales on the internet and social networks.

The first day will also be open to other theaters and institutions that are not yet part of OLA, prior registration in the email mdelpedregal@municipal.cl. The second day will consist of meetings exclusively for the members of the group, headed by the general director of the Municipal Theater of Santiago and president of OLA, Andrés Rodríguez. The meeting will take place in the framework of the premiere in Chile of the opera The Rake’s Progress, by Stravinsky.
