Abstract: The Teatro Sánchez Aguilar is an initiative of Don Carlos Sánchez Aguilar through the Foundation of the same name, which opened on May 16, 2012, being among its objectives to contribute to the development and strengthening of cultural expressions of the canton of Samborondón and of the province of Guayas in the formative, professional, creative and informative aspects. Develop and develop a consistent and consistent programming that contributes to the promotion and development of the culture of the Samborondón canton in the province of Guayas. Organize exchange activities with educational and / or cultural groups and institutions of the community aimed at stimulating and complementing educational and artistic work, becoming the main tool that drives the professional artistic movement and the creation of socio-educational projects that build new audiences. . The programming of the theater is very eclectic, accommodating all kinds of live arts and becoming the main production unit of the city, collaborating with other independent artistic teams and producers. The theater does not have any stable cast, for each of its productions, whether theatrical, ballet or musical, performs open casting calls. Where it gives a lot of importance is to the projects with the community and with the young people, and thus the project of LA NAVE was born, which works with young people with skills in any artistic activities, from painting, photography, visuals, music, dance, Theater and of course literature.
